We are seeking an Engineering Manager for our chemical manufacturing client, to lead their engineering team in the design, development, and optimization of processes, products, and manufacturing systems. This position requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and a focus on efficiency and sustainability.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and refine product development, testing, and manufacturing processes to meet company goals.
Manage and assign tasks to engineering and technical personnel to ensure project completion within deadlines and budget.
Lead teams in the development of new solutions, processes, and product designs to enhance operational efficiency.
Mentor and direct project and reliability engineers, fostering their professional growth and development.
Oversee project logistics, resource allocation, and ensure that all projects stay on track and meet quality standards.
Strive to improve process efficiency, product design, and sustainability while minimizing waste and optimizing resource use.
Secure necessary resources for engineering teams, including researching and proposing capital investments to enhance operations.
Create and manage project budgets and engage in cost management strategies to optimize spending.
Advocate for team members, ensuring they have the resources and support needed to succeed.
Communicate technical information to key stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
Maintain a high level of expertise in the relevant field or sector to drive innovation and technical solutions.
Ensure that all processes and systems comply with quality and safety standards.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and other departments to ensure cohesive project development and execution.
Forge and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, vendors, and customers to ensure timely delivery of materials and high-quality outputs.

Education, Experience, & Licensing Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering (required).
4-5 years of relevant work experience in an engineering role.
1-2 years of management experience, leading engineering teams or projects.
Master’s degree in engineering or MBA is a plus.
Work Schedule:
