We are seeking an experienced Production Manager to oversee our daily production operations, ensuring compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards. This role is crucial to driving productivity, optimizing resources, and fostering a high-performing workforce to achieve company goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage all production operations within the facility to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of all processes.
Ensure strict compliance with safety standards, environmental regulations, and industry-specific guidelines to maintain a safe and sustainable working environment.
Develop, implement, and continuously improve operational policies and procedures to enhance productivity, quality, and safety.
Conduct regular inspections and plan for equipment maintenance to ensure the reliability of machinery and minimize downtime.
Optimize resource utilization, including labor, materials, and equipment, to meet production targets.
Coordinate with external technical support and vendors for troubleshooting and guidance on complex issues.
Lead recruitment, training, and operator development initiatives to build and maintain a skilled, motivated, and high-performing team.
Facilitate clear communication among teams, ensuring alignment with company objectives, policies, and production goals.
Monitor and report on production metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed.
Collaborate with other departments, including R&D, quality control, and logistics, to ensure seamless coordination and high-quality production outputs.
Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (Chemical Engineering preferred).
Proven management experience in chemical manufacturing or a related industry.
Strong problem-solving abilities with the capacity to interpret mechanical and electrical drawings.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage with all levels of the organization.
Proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and MS Project to manage production data and report on performance.
Strong leadership and team-building skills to guide the production team and collaborate effectively with other departments.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
